HOUSTON – Paranjpe Mahadass Ruemke LLP (PMR Law) is pleased to announce that firm founder Tej Paranjpe has been included in the 2023 edition of Best Lawyers in America for his expertise in handling plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation.

Best Lawyers is the nation’s oldest peer review guide and highlights the leading attorneys in the country in their specific practice areas. Selection is based on peer nominations and feedback from attorneys in the same practice areas and geographic regions. The complete list of 2023 Best Lawyers in America can be found here: https://www.bestlawyers.com.

“I am grateful that my work has been recognized by our peers,” said Mr. Paranjpe. “We strive to hold others accountable when our clients have been harmed, and I appreciate that work is recognized by Best Lawyers.”

A trial attorney for more than 10 years, Mr. Paranjpe is a strong advocate for individuals and companies facing personal injury and commercial litigation disputes. Among his most recent cases, he helped resolve a wrongful death case for the family of a U.S. Army soldier based in El Paso killed after being struck while crossing a street at a crosswalk.

Mr. Paranjpe has also fought to hold oil and gas companies accountable for dangerous business practices, including the representation of homeowners in litigation against companies accused of improper construction of pipelines near homes in Channelview and Jacinto City, Texas. The litigation could impact how companies design and build pipelines through residential areas.

Currently, he is involved in cases against large corporations like Apple and Ford. In the suit against Apple, Mr. Paranjpe is representing the family of an 11-year-old boy over its AirPods product after the plaintiff suffered permanent hearing loss when the earphones unexpectedly blasted an Amber Alert message. The case against Ford is a class-action lawsuit involving 2020 Ford 350 pickup trucks over misrepresentation of the truck’s towing and hauling capabilities. The lawsuit accuses Ford of selling, advertising, and marketing false truck labels and only providing accurate labels as a remedy to consumers after thousands of trucks were recalled.

His work has received recognition from his peers, including recent honors in Texas Super Lawyers and the 2022 Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers legal guide.
