Harold J. Landreneau is an associate attorney at PMR Law with a primary focus on Personal Injury. He was born and raised in the Historic Houston Heights in Houston, Texas and he is a graduate of St. Pius X High School. Harold earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Houston and his J.D. Law Degree from South Texas College of Law. Harold studied European Union Law and EU Government and Ethics at the University of Durham-Collingwood College, in Durham England, with a host of international law professors and a Justice of the Texas Supreme Court.
As a former criminal defense lawyer, Harold brings fourteen years of criminal jury trial experience and advocacy to the firm. He has personally represented thousands of clients during his career and tried more than six hundred trials to verdict. Harold is a tireless and tenacious advocate for his clients, always seeking equality, fairness, and justice. He looks forward to helping make our injured clients whole and righting as many wrongs as he can.
Harold was previously employed with one of the biggest criminal defense firms in the Greater Houston Area and immediately prior he had also practiced criminal law as a solo attorney. He has represented clients with misdemeanors and felonies in Harris and contiguous counties in Texas. Harold also brings extensive Texas DPS administrative law experience in the areas of DWI ALR Hearings, DL Suspensions, and the Occupational License process.
Prior to beginning his law practice Harold served Harris County for fourteen years as a Justice Court Clerk and was the Chief Clerk of one of the biggest Justice of the Peace Courts in the State of Texas. Managing the affairs of the Court for the Judge for eight years, Harold supervised a staff of twenty-seven, managed a yearly budget of $1.2 million and oversaw the collection of more than $3.4 million a year in County fines and fees.
Harold is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, he is a father, an Eagle Scout and a trained mediator. He previously served as a volunteer Boy Scout Leader for many years and is now a parent volunteer in the Houston Area Girl and Boy Scout Programs. Harold enjoys camping, Astros Baseball, and spending time with his wife and two children.
